MailChimp or Contact Forms, Google Analytics & Site Verification
To automize some actions like sending emails or newsletters and get detailed reports, I’d advice you to get MailChimp (it’s free until you reach your 2000th subscriber). If you only need to create nice forms for contact, polls or otherwise, then I suggest to use Contact Forms 7.
To track your progress you best set up Google Analytics. You do need a Google account for that. Once you have learned how Google Analytics works, you are able to see what actions to get more audience work and what not. Also, it may surprise you to see where your audience is located and how many of them use their mobile devices. I think it’s a pretty cool tool.
After setting up Google Analytics, you have to verify your site to prove you are the owner of the website. Once verified, you have access to the private Google Search data, and you can change how Google Search crawls your site which affects your visibility in Google Search.
However, these plugins and tools cost some time and information to set up according to your goals and target wishes. Outsource these tasks to me (I’ve got some Google certifications) and you’ll have some tools to track your progress and to adjust your strategy when needed.
